 Deciding on what to get?!?!

Hello, new here....posted in the uro forum because I thought I was going to go that direction...but want to confirm something about Dragons first as my 5 yo REALLY^ wants a dragon.

Do beardeds *NEED* to eat live insects? My wife absolutely says no to this and thats why I decided to go the Uro route...but was wondering if there are any frozen insects that would be ok?

Yep, they sure do need live food, and lots of them if you are to get a baby. A hatchling needs bugs, 3 x a day, as much as it will eat in a 10-15 min period. That could be as much as 25-40 crickets in one setting 3 x a day...An adult however, only need bugs 3 x a week as much as they can eat once a day. Frozen bugs are not nutritious and full of crap they shouldn’t be eating. Not only that, but most beardies will not eat dead food.
