 Translucent german giants?

is it possible to breed a male translucent and a female german giant? what would the babies turn out as? would this be a good idea?

The babies would all then be 100% het for translucent. So none of them would be translucent, but all of them would be able to produce translucent babies when bred with another het, or a translucent.
