 Red dots?

Hey again

(Edel I will be taking photos of their bums soon so you can help me sex them like ya said just having some problems with my camera)

my question is about chomper and patience...i noticed today after spending time with them individually in the bath that they have some red spots on them. they are inbetween the scales...i rubbed one of them gently with my nail and it came off i showed my fiance and he squashed it with his nail and it burst with what looked like blood? are these mites? if so how can i remove them...
chomer was a bright colour as you saw in the photos before, then after she laid her eggs she became quite dark looking but was shedding so i put it down to that, shes still eating and pooping and so is patience her colour is still the same.

is there anything i can do?

thankyou Bre

I sounds like mites to me...... There are special sprays that you can put on reptiles to get rid of them. Here is one of them: Link I don’t know if this is a good one though.

 Red dots?

thankyou for your reply, i have them in with the vet tomo, i have phoned all vets near me and cannot find a specialist anywhere... :( the place im going to tomo say they know alot about them and do see a few of them and have operated on some....thats the best vet i can find at the moment...I have already tried one vet who took a look at patience and said he did not know anything about them!..they said that chomper and patience will need to have some spot on treatment...is this correct? today i took out everything in their vivs put it into the bath tub and boiled the kettle lots to boil the stuff...with the wood i dried it and put it in the hot oven for about an hour and a half, i removed the repti carpet and washed it on a hot was without deturgent and cleaned the viv with hot water and a disposable cloth...i replaced the substrate with kitchen towl and have put in their basking rocks, water bowl and food bowl only...am i doing the right thing by leaving everything else out untill they have been treated??? bless them i feel so bad for not noticing them before...
thanx Bre
