Message To: Mikelikesdub In reference to Message Id: 2268924 About to travel long distance with beardy. I need help!
Usually if you put him in a shoe box with a nice little towel for a blankie on the bottom, cover it up, he will/should sleep through the entire trip.....dark and comfy with a few holes on the lid for air. He will arrive rested and stress free. Just make sure he doesn’t get too cold, 60F to about 75F is a good sleeping temp. Of course, if you feel comfortable holding him, some of them do really well perching on your shoulder or the dash board for the drive. I would definitely not leave him in the enclosure for the transport so that nothing in there could slide and crush him. Hope this helps, Edel |
