 Green cheeked conure info pleaase!!!

are they good birds that will sit on your shoulder and not allways try to fly away? (like are they people birds) an can it be in my room while i’m at school? how much money are they in canada?

GCC are velcro birds. They will shoulder ride 24/7 if you give them the chance.
They make excellent pets, very playful, friendly, generally a quiet bird but you can get the occasional noisy one. Most GCC that’re noisy is usually due to boredom. They have an enormous personality & are not afraid to express themselves, especially if you do something to upset them. They can hold a grudge.

They’re nippy. They love to explore, nibble & bite to play with fingers etc. This is natural for them to do but if it’s encouraged it usually leads to nasty biting. So, nibbles & playing with fingers needs to be discouraged from the very beginning. Replace your fingers or any part that is nibbled on with a toy.

The start of their new life with their owner is a very big learning curve for the bird when learning not to develop all these habits that’re quite normal to them. But they learn very fast & are eager to please. They make awesome lifetime companions as long as the right thing is done by them.
