YESSSSSSSSS my parrotlets are finally working there boxes 
Finally my little ones are working there boxes. I have three pairs of parrrotlets and two of the females have laid eggs. Now its time to wait it out and see if I will be a grandpa. This is the hard part in my opinion. Cant really see in the box to see how many eggs they have and I guess i wont know till they start leaving there nests to feed but we shall see. I have been waiting for over a year for this moment. I am so happy. Eventhough they are first time parents I feel good about this first batch. I will always keep a positive outlook on everything i do, and as the saying goes ,If at first you dont succeesd BLA BLA BLA......... Cant wait. either way......

So far there are 12 eggs in total. I am on day 8 and so far so good. Females are in the nest for the entire day for the exception of early morning water breaks and pooping. Keeping my fingers crossed. One question though , I would like to see if I can candle the eggs just to make sure That they are fertile. . At what point can i do that. And should i use gloves to keep my scent off of them. Or does it not really matter. Thank you so much . take care everybody.

All the babies are growing fast. The mothers try to kill me when i take out the babies to weigh them and feed them. Next week I will seperate the babies from there moms. Or at least I plan to take them away. Starting to hand feeding is going to be tons of fun. They are growing so fast. 
I am so excited to see what theylook like fully feathered.

Thank you . I am a very proud fo my girls. They are great parents . Especially due to the fact that they are first time parents. Both males and females have done great jobs at raising thses chicks.
