 I need help now please.

I was outside doing yard work today and I found an egg in the grass. It wasn’t in a nest or something so I don’t think it was a ground bird. I think it is firtile because when I hold it up to light it is dark and it’s heavy.

The egg is small about half the size of my thumb and blueish white.

I need to know how to set up an incubation nest. How hot does the light have to be?
How long might it take to hatch?
How many times a day do I have to turn the egg?

Thats all I can think of right now but I might come up with some more questions later.

Its hard to say how long or what temp to incubate as we dont know what kind of bird it is, it varies by species best I can say is to keep it warm and in an area where it wont get shaken, dropped or otherwise roughly handled... and hope for the best. might call a wildlife rescue or something, they may at least be able to tell you what species it is... GL!
