Amanda St John of muttshack animal rescue needs help rehoming a bunch of Exotic birds. I worked with her during the animal rescues after hurricane katrina. If you know anyone in the area that can help out that be great.

Copied from her site...

We are looking for someone (breeder, bird-lovers, etc) to provide a good,
secure, permanent home for the birds listed below. These birds have been a
very big part of our lives, but we are unable to keep them due to the risks
involved in transporting them to safety in the case of hurricanes, floods,
etc. All birds have been lovingly cared for and are in excellent health;
they are truly beautiful birds, too. Shipping/transfer arrangements to be
negotiated. Pictures provided upon request. Please feel free to contact me
should you have any further questions.

1 Black Cap Lory (sex unknown)
1 Stella’s Lorikeet (male, melanistic, young)
2 Pleasing Lorikeets (male, young)
1 Green Wing Macaw (male)
1 Lesser Sulfur-crested Cockatoo (sex unknown, but probably male)
1 Whiskered Barbet (female)

ALL POTENTIAL ADOPTERS WILL BE EXTENSIVELY SCREENED BEFORE GIVING THE BIRDS
AWAY!!! ONLY SERIOUS ANIMAL LOVERS NEED REPLY!!! THESE BIRDS DESERVE AN
EXCELLENT HOME!

Please send me a PM for link or Amanda email I know this isn’t the place for adoptions but she did some much for all the animals after Katrina its the least I can do to help her...

Thanks Craig
