 Getting a grey

hi..i have a budgie but the parrot type of species are the same so i wanna give you some advice on birds...yours is a grey red tailed parrot?well they need lots of space and if trained well you may find a leash and carry it with you on the arms...if you see a liquid substance from your parrot then thats bad..if your parrot’s beaks and toes get like really freakishly long then thats bad..if your parrot looses feathers and have really weird bumps and act sort of weird then thats bad...and if the poop looks like very liquidy diarriea then thats bad...those are mostly the diseases of parrot birds i know of soo thats a warning for you to have a healthy inviroment in your house..have a less dust free house and no purfume or any febrizz like substance in your house..very very bad..anyways good luck on your bird... :)

 Getting a grey

There is soo much info on greys you could google. There’s a great deal to know about them.

I’ve never actually heard of a grey red tailed parrot before.....the African Grey parrot has a red tail but it’s called African Grey or Grey Parrot in Australia.

This has confused me a little. A budgie IS a parrot. It’s a hookbill (hook-billed bird) & hookbills are parrots.

Some basics:
AG are a highly needy bird when it comes to human interaction. You need to be able to supply them with human interaction for long enough periods in a day.

The largest possible cage you can find, baby, toddler & parrot interactive toys are a must. A toy box, large play gym or tree for playing & foraging.

It seems to be more & more common these days for owners to prefer to feed a natural fresh, soft food diet & there are some studies coming up that are saying AG’s do poorly on pellet diets, so species specific diet will need to be looked into.
