Toys?? 
My budgie, Tucker, he wont play with his toys, all he does is sit there in his cage, he eats, he drinks (i think, i hadn’t seen him drink before), and he never wants to come out of his cage. I have had him for about 2 1/2 weeks. How do i get him to play with his toys??

some birds are terrified of their toys b/c they are something new and hugand are all of a sudden plopped into their cage did you try sitting them next the the cage for several days and then on to of the cage for several days first to slowly intorduce them to her?
also some birds just dont play with toys some love them some could care less lol

they are scared at first like what the other person said but it happens to all budgies...they come to a new place and they have to get used to the new place...and they will start to play with the toyes when they get bored and start to get interested in it..only if they are used to there new place. :)
