How Old Is He? It looks like a male to me!! If it is it will loose most of its pearl markings, and it is a Cinnamon Pearl Pied, beautiful bird!! I have 6 cockatiels that I breed and I handfeed the babies, next year I will have whiteface/lutino (albino) cockatiel babies and I can’t wait!! If you have any questions, just ask!! She/he is about a year old. I didn’t know that she/he was a cinnamon pearl pied, I only knew she was a pearl. I really hope it’s a she because it took me forever to come up with a good name for he/she. How long does it take for a male cockatiel to loose his markings? Oh, and thanks for the responses.

which pet store u go to? if it was petsmart u were most likely ripped off. my mom got a lizard for the family and we spent like $400 counting the lizard and we ended up having to take her to the vet because they gave us the wrong lights.

I’d say you got ripped off anyway. ( The bird is beautiful, male or female) but $110 is REALLY high. Around here you can get a pearl for about $75 from a pet store and less from a breeder. However if she’s special to you then the cost really doesn’t matter.
