*sigh* cockatiel problems Hi, as some of you know I had a pair of female tiels and then got a pair of males (none of the birds have ever really been sexed these genders are just what the people i got them from said) well long story short I lost one of the females and I put the other female in with the males because she was acting all depressed and since she has perked up and is acting normal..... however I am having an issue with the "males" one male seems to have formed a tight bond with the "female" but the other male spends alot of time by himself now and gets picked on by the other "male" (at least im pretty sure its him) they are plucking the feathers off his back (like where his shoulders would be) I am thinking about getting another bird but im not sure... thanks :)

*sigh* cockatiel problems i have always heard with birds to never have an uneven number b/c 2 will pair up and then the other one will be alone
so maybe getting another one will help
and you are sure the cage is big enough for 3 birds? although that doesnt soundlike the problem
good luck

*sigh* cockatiel problems yes I know the cage is "big enough" for the three of them however its no where near ideal imo and they are getting a bigger cage and I know you shouldnt have an un even number of them and i didnt do this on purpose now I just have to figure out where to get a bird from.... :( even if I wanted to we have no petstores here (which i dont lol) and I dont think we have breeders either I think ill post on CL and see what i find
