Hey,
I have 4 diamond doves.I never named the others only one has a name its Zeek.I have 3 males and 1 female(2 males in one cage and 1 male and 1 female in the same)Any ideas what i should anem the other 3?????Post pictures of your birds here also.:)

Why don’t you try naming them according to their appearance and behaviors? Like powder, dusty, trixie, macho (lol) etc. Just a suggestion =) I would post pics, but the scanner isn’t here at the time.

How about ash? Or stormy, sooty, char, cloud, perhaps mason also? Just some names I thought of ( according to their colors.) Good luck with naming them.

the two top ones are younger males and they were "rejects" due to mobility issues when they were young and the lower two are an older m/f pair that my mom took in to remind her of her dad and she just neglected them so i took ’em. they love out of cage time and doo wop oldies. they cheep along and dance. i’m not too into birds but these guys are hilarious.

thanks! i’m sure they appreciate it. especially sydney, the blue male. he spends HOURS cheeping his charms at the mirror and making out with tongue with it. then he dances and cheeps his charms to the other ’keets who feign interest or stare at him sleepily.

Here are my 2 big boys. Troy the Umbrella Cockatoo and Aztec the Blue and Gold Macaw. They are both such mamas birds!

Here’s my baby. The breeder said she was male due to her head/eye shape/size. We named her Harrison. Then, when she was 18 months old, we had her DNA tested and she’s female!! She already knew her name so we just left it. Here are some pictures of her...they’re in order of her age.

I use several cameras but mostly Nikon D300 and D40. Thanks for the compliment. :) You have really nice photos too..I wish I had parrots like that in my backyard!!!
