 Moving!!!

When I moved from CA to WI with two parakeets. I tried a home made version of these Link

by the end of the first day, they were about to kill each other. I put them in their normal cage, and had it tethered to the side of the truck we were driving (on the inside so it wouldn’t bounce) and they loved it.
I would get a smaller cage than what you normally use, put his favorite perches in it, some millet and some water and when you stop for the night, If you are staying in a hotel, put him in his regular cage with food and water. Make sure to cover either cage half way to prevent too much sun light OR drafts from getting to him.

We rehomed a quaker from WI to MN, and he hated being IN his cage in the car. He spent the trip on the head rest behind my hubby as he drove. and groomed him the entire way, he was happy there.
Just some thoughts
Good luck
Carol
