they can slam into things like windows and mirrors and brake their necks etc you can also ware their hearts out by chasing them around if you really want a tame bird the birst thing you will need to do is seperate the 2 birds it is very difficult to train birds housed together b/c they will be bonded with each other then you will need to clip the wings so it is dependant on you to go anywhere when out of his cage them it is just patience patience patience you need to earn his trust and that can take ALOT of time depending on the bird you want to avoid chasing of any kind wether in or out of the cage that just makes them lose trust in you entice him over with a favorite treat(millet works well b/c it is long) and try to get him to come closer and closer to your hand sit next to his cage and talk to him or read to him some peole recomend sitting next to the cage and playing with a favorite toy or eating a favorite treat and he will become interested and come over toward you but remember patience is the key it may take weeks or even months for him to allow you to handle him i am not trying to discourage you but i want you to know that it might not be easy good luck |
