if it has a door that folds out just open the cage and let it come out on it’s own. if it’s wings aren’t clipped let it start flying around the house some. eventually it will come to you and then eventually after that it should start letting you get it out of it’s cage as well. that’s how mine is and was.

it can be very dangerous to let them fly around the house

they can slam into things like windows and mirrors and brake their necks etc

you can also ware their hearts out by chasing them around

if you really want a tame bird the birst thing you will need to do is seperate the 2 birds it is very difficult to train birds housed together b/c they will be bonded with each other

then you will need to clip the wings so it is dependant on you to go anywhere when out of his cage

them it is just patience patience patience

you need to earn his trust and that can take ALOT of time depending on the bird
you want to avoid chasing of any kind wether in or out of the cage

that just makes them lose trust in you

entice him over with a favorite treat(millet works well b/c it is long) and try to get him to come closer and closer to your hand

sit next to his cage and talk to him or read to him

some peole recomend sitting next to the cage and playing with a favorite toy or eating a favorite treat and he will become interested and come over toward you

but remember patience is the key it may take weeks or even months for him to allow you to handle him i am not trying to discourage you but i want you to know that it might not be easy

good luck
