My lutino cockatiel kadaj will sit on my shoulder, "play video games" with me (sit on the controller and push buttons), and I have her trained to sit on my hand (not fly off) until I put her on the floor; then she’s allowed to do what she wants. I would suggest getting one from a breeder so you can bond with them from a hatchling. That’s what I did with Kadaj. I noticed that the ones we acquired later in life had a harder time becoming social (we got them from people who never handled them). |
