my hen that i thought was going to lay and hatch this year didn’t stick with it. I think she gave up. =( she is broody but i don’t know what happened i went in and she was off the eggs and they were cold. Plus I don’t know if they were even fertile, i hadn’t seen my rooster mate with any of them in a while. I guess he is out of his breeding season. And when he was mating them we didn’t know the hen was trying to hatch them. stupid us, but this is both her and I fist year so next year babies are for sure.
