HElP INJURY Rap it in a towel and take it to the animal hospital or the vet. Ask for an X-Ray. And if they cant find anything wrong with it keep it inside and let heal on its own.

HElP INJURY cant get to vet. just wondering what your oppinion would be if a duck got its leg trapped under a log would the leg heal. the leg has no major swelling or cuts. just was trapped under a log and i think it may be bruised or broken but i couldnt find any breaks. whats your oppinion on how it will heal?

HElP INJURY no offense, but without actually seeing the bird’s leg, there’s no way to tell. there could be a fracture, torn ligaments, etc in there that need help healing. the duck may seem fine right now, but if something in there heals wrong it can be detrimental for the leg. just wondering, why can’t you get to a vet? do you have their number, because i’m sure they would try to talk to you over the phone.
