i just got myself a couple of cocktails yesterday *my friend rescued them from a lousy owner* and they are absolutly adoreable :)
i hv no idea yet which’s male and which’s female.. as far as for the diet i’m still searching on it so any suggestion would be helpfull :) |

they are cute as for diet you should feed a pelleted diet (zupreem is a good brand) and fresh fruits and veggies that should be their main diet and you can do some seed as treats my quaker loooves nutriberries those are the only seed he gets |

i’m not a native english speaker so i tend to make lots of spelling errors =p as far as the diet do i feed them any fruit?? here in yemen we hv mostly mango, peaches, apples, grapes, honey dew and papaya.. does it all sound good? or i hv to avoid some of it? btw i read somewhere that they need some kind of branches for them to trim thier nails and stuff, so right now what i do hv is a lemon and orange tree? so from which one should i cut a branch for them and place in their cage? |

just make sure to remove all the seeds as for the the tree branches i dont know if those would be safe or not some woods are poisonus do you have a petstore nearby? i would go to the petstore and get some perches or order them online for them to perch on here is a pic of my quaker parrots cage to give you an idea
there is a few more things in there now but you get the general idea |
