 Poisonous to birds?

How long after using a spray air refresher should I wait before putting my birds back in my room?

Air freshner is a very slow killer for parrots & shouldn’t be used at all.

But since you have used it you need to open up your entire house, or room that you sprayed to allow fresh outside air in. Keep it open for the full day, preferably for the next couple of days minimum. Vacuum carpets & clean any furnishings with warm water, solid or materials. They will have residue on them from spraying.

The best air freshner to use is an open window & door. Boil some things like cloves, ornage peel etc to use as a freshener.

If you keep your room clean, dust free & open up as much as possible you don’t need to use freshner at all.

I didn’t use any air refresher, my grandmother was visiting and sprayed it while I was at school. I kept my birds out of my room for a week and opened the windows wide every day. They’re back now and are doing fine. I don’t have any carpets and I can’t really clean my sofa and bed right now but my finches seem fine (they’ve been back for a week) so they’re fine. Thanks for your help!
