#2073908 ReptiGal94 View Profile	Allergies? Hey, I haven’t ever been on this forum, and I actually don’t have a bird either. However, I’ve been wanting a bird, but every time I’ve been in contact with one, my mom breaks out on her hands, and it’s only the pointer finger. We’ve been thinking this could be an allergy to birds, but it seems to vary between the types of birds. We used to have a ring neck dove and she just barely broke out, but with our yellow crowned amazon it was pretty bad. With our finches, she didn’t break out at all. So far, none of the doctors she’s been to can diagnose it. Anti fungals, anti bacterials, washing hands, none of it has worked. She tried wart remover and it’s worked twice, but we don’t want to hope on that, get a bird, and then have it stop working only so we’d have to get rid of the bird. Any ideas what this could be?
