Bantum chickens... Okay, so my high school agriculture class is giving away batum chicks. thet deal is that you have to show them at the local chicken show in august. I have searched the almighty internet and not found much on the care an such. I know that chicks need to be kept at around 90 degrees for a while, but other than that I am not totally sure on anything other than fresh water and 18% protein feed, and bathing (which I am still fuzzy on how to do). any info on care, and showing of them is greatly appreciated. I will try to get more info on them tomorrow at school, but as previously stated any info is appreciated! thanks!-Cody

ok, dont give the chicks a bath. dont no where you heard that, but realy, just dont do it. even if they r realy dirty, just dab them with a wet paper towel and dry them off. adult birds are a diffrent matter. if you have questions about giving bantams baths, pm me. ill get back to you.
