2 QUESTIONS!! PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!! 
ok well I was gonna get one of those scenic background things for mosi’s tank (there like a poster of the rainforest kinda) and I was wondeirng if that like scares them or if I should get one...becuse I saw a rainforest one and it like matches his setup it has the same color flowers and everythign! so I was wondering if that was a good Idea....
QUESTION #2: ok well it is bugging me to death!! but I know Mosi is a "true" red tail...but I was wondering if there was any way to tell where he is from like such as colombia, guyana, suriname, central american, peruvian, or any of those or more I dont know where!! how can I tell?? I am getting a disposable camera tomorrow and am taking some pictures of him and as soon as I gget them developed they will be on here.....maybe then somebody couold tell me..but for now is ther any charecteristics between those that I can look at????thanks!!!

i have a question for you boababe....you use a under tank heater on a thermostat right? is it ok to use that and a light at the same time?

there is no thermostat just an uth (but i put my hand in like 3 times a day to make sure it is a good temp) yea it is ok to use a light too I use a light and a uth and switch the light bulb at night to a night bulb (it’s not bright at all) any ideas where I can get a thermostat???

to answer your first question boababe448 a scenic backround will be good for your boa, assuming that there is alot of space around the outside of his tank. a glass aquarium can be stressful to young snakes (especially blood pythons) so closing off some of the sides with a scenic backdrop, newspaper, etc... can make them feel more "secure" as they are no longer overwhelmed with the space in the room (they dont seem to grasp the concept of glass). to answer your second question, i can tell you what kind of boa MOSI is if you post pics of him. BTW where did you buy MOSI from?

I will put pictures up as soon as they are developed.....I got him from our little local "family" (not my family but a family owns it) petshop it is very reliable and we have been going to it for 11 years......i KNOW mosi is a TRUE redtail but I am just not sure where he is from.....I will post pictures like I said as soon as they are developed.....

You can find a UTH at your local petstore or at a reptile show, or expo. I would really recommend getting on because then you can set the uth at what ever temps you would like, and there are some where you can also plug in the dome light or overhead light and set that as well. Good luck!

UTH? Do you mean Under Tank Heater?
I have yet to find one that has adjustable settings
i have looked at 4-5 brands and they recomend useing a Rheostat or Thermostat with them....and you can find them anywhere online.
Go to Reptileexpo.com and there is a vender list of pretty good shops that carry them or go to google and do a search for reptile thermostats.
i think big apple herp has good prices and discounts for multiple items
