Need help with dumeril boa 
hi everyone i have a dumeril boa whom i just discovered has mites i have soaked him in water and i have cleaned the entire tank out with bleach water and changed the bedding to just newspaper cleaned his water bowl and hide what i need to know is this enough or do i need to get something else also can humans or dogs catch the mites i would appreciate any help you could give me thankyou kraftysan

You need to kill the eggs,permetherin will do that.I have used provent a mite before but it is too expensive,i recently used Rid for lice.It has the same ingredients at much less cost.Take the snake and water out of the cage,spray the inside of the cage evenly with the rid and let dry completely then put the snake back in.Do not put the water back in until the next day.
