 Ok so here is the deal...

im 15 years old about to be 16
i have previously owned 3 ball pythons and 1 columbian red tail boa
but then... we moved and guess who had to get rid all of their snakes? yeah me
i know, blows doesn’t it?
this was about 4 years ago and my dad helped me set up cages for these reptiles
well now i want another snake, but just one
and it is goin to be a red tail because i only had my other one for about a week and a half before we moved.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOO
i need help on what i need, so any advice?



*note* i am NOT getting this snake any time soon
probably within the next 5 monthes or so...

use caresheets

But u will need tank, substrate food, heat mat, water bowl and a hide box couldn’t hurt either

Thats the basic stuff depends how elaborate u wanna be

Evolution.. sorry you had to get rid of your snakes...
You can go by the care sheets BUT remember..each caresheet was written by a different person with a different snake.. what works for my Boa may not work for you and yours. Might I suggest, the first item you buy? A Book. It’s called Barron’s Boas.A Complete Pet Owner’s Manual. It covers everything from types of boas ..their husbandry requirements.. and breeding. It also has a special chapter on understanding boas. It has anaswered every question I’ve had so far. Congrats on restarting your collection. Let us know what you get and be sure to post pics.

I like th enclosures you buy. 4 ft long x 2ft deep and a ft tall. Heated too. get a decent thermostat and ur set. I use reptile basics cages. Boaphile makes nice ones too
