Yes, it’s still considered Hybridizing, Yellow and Green Anacondas might both be Anacondas, but still completely different snakes. Like breeding a Brazilian Rainbow Boa to a BCI, both boas, but very different.:)


Actually Rainbow Boas are Eunectes (like the Anacondas) and not under the Boa Constrictor umbrella. They are all Boas, but Boa Constrictor and Eunectes are far different. Like the Woma X Carpet, both ’Pythons’ but not both under the ’Python’ umbrella, ’theoretically’ uncrossable... until of course they proove you wrong :).

btw- I know Rainbow X Anaconda has been done, but I’ve never been able to fing a pic of that particular crossing.

I knew that Rainbows were the next thing down from Condas, didn’t really think about it at the time though, but it worked for an example, lol.:)

Both Rainbo Boas and Anacondas Sit right under that Genus branch, the next one down differentiates yellow from green annies and colombian from brazilian rainbows respectively :).
