 YUM YUM CHICKEN???

Ok, another question. I have chickens all around my yard, so I caught one of the babies to feed to my Boas, but, both of them were disinterested in it! I’ve fed one to them before, but the female rejected it and the male took about 2 hours to even catch it. Usually they strike right away. And I know they were hungry! So, has anyone had the same experience or is there maybe something "fishy" about this?

Ok, many people will tell you feeding your snake a baby chicken is not the best idea. There is a chance of infecting your snake with salmonella. Your better off not risking it.

As far as them not eating right now, you said in your other post they have been breeding for the last 3 months. From what I have read, they generally don’t eat during breeding. In fact you are supposed to stop feeding them before breeding. Maybe someone else can answer you at what point they start eating again, I really don’t know.
Good luck to you. If your female is gravid I bet you are in for a very exciting experience. Have fun!!
