Collection Pics (LOTS) - Usual Suspects and New Additions !! HARDCORE DUW !!

Well, I was cleaning tanks today and it’s been a while since I posted any updated pics so ... here’s my snake collection. Not a huge one, but I’m proud of it. It consists of five boa constrictors and one corn snake.

Anyone good with mythology? :-)

First up ... the first girl I ever picked up ...

Artemis - ’07 Normal BCI 100% Het. Albino Female (she just ate yesterday so I did not handle her)

Look at the iridescent shine on this girl ... absolutely gorgeous. The vet has fallen in love with her because of it. The lighter is for size reference. She is at about the five foot range.

Her cage ... a 75 Gallon. It’s a bit bare because of an awesomely fun (sarcasm) episode of mites caused by an irresponsible friend of mine "taking care" of my snakes while I was gone.

Helios - ’08 Albino BCI (Kahl Strain) Male

His cage ... a 50 Gallon.

Rhea - ’06 Hog Island Boa Female (formely named Mama and also with a full belly and since she already has an attitude I was not pushing my luck. she had a really bad RI when I first got her and it took sixty days of treatment that involved a nebulizer and injecting medicine in her mouth twice a day. needless to say ... she is not a huge fan of us now.)

Her cage ... a 75 Gallon with a built in pool. Yes, I know there is ecoEarth in it.

Selene - ’09 Normal BCI DH Snow Female (Partial Circle Back Ladder Tail)

Her cage ... a 50 Gallon. Yes, I know it’s big. She has three hides in it. :-)

Osiris - ’08 Hypomelanistic BCI TH Moonglow Male

I LOVE how dark his head is. It’s a great contrast.

The tiny stripe on his tail is how I tell him apart from his sister.

His cage ... 20 Gallon Long.

Isis - ’08 Hypomelanistic BCI TH Moonglow Female

Her cage ... a 20 Gallon tall.

Gabriel - Snow Corn Snake Male

His cage ... 75 Gallon.

There. Enough of the picture flood. Lol
Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Lovely collection. Really lovely variation in the collection. Your house must be filled with tanks!
I may be keeping one of the corns I hatched from the snakes I was caring for over the summer. I hope to get pictures soon of everyone!

Yes, it is! Lol On top of the snakes we have a 250 Gallon Tall tank that houses two Chinese Crested Water Dragons. We are modifying it to have a running waterfall in it ... but also working on building cages for all the Boas.

We are hoping to move them into a well insulated section of our garage so we can reclaim our office that is currently "The Snake Room". They are great to look at, but I know soon the Hog will outgrow her tank (she has a foot to go before reaching six) and so will Artemis. It’s best to keep them in their complete homes because I am no longer capable of just switching them from one tank to another. Hard to believe all I started out with was a little corn snake and a 20 Gallon long tank!

As for your corns, I did see the pics of the one already hatched. I am not adverse on snakes morphs, but he was a motely, right?

Oh, and as always, thanks for the comments. :-)
