Guess What?? My snake is on live mice(still trying to get him on frozen) so i bought 3 live mice from the pet store and i fed him all of them in one feeding because he is so skinny, i need to fatten him up...and i fed him them saturday, and tuesday morning he had regeritated one of them in his cage, it was really nasty...so i called the vet and i told them that i didnt handle him after he ate, and they said that i probably overfed him(hes just a baby). but is he does it again im taking him in to the vet to make sure hes not sick or anything.

Guess What?? Why do people feel the need to "fatten" up their snakes? Feeding him one large mouse is better than three small ones at one time. If he has to catch and constrict while trying to digest another mouse just eaten, you’re introducing all kind of problems and regurgitation is expected. Slow down, feed him one rodent of the appropriate size and let him grow. Feed him once every 7-10 days. The size of the rodent should be a little bigger than his girth--just a little.

Guess What?? u dont want to feed more than at the max 2 mice, i dont know how big ur snake is but the rat u feed him should be as big as the girth of the snake. just because hes skinny doesnt mean u feed it more a t a time, over time if u feed him a good size meal it well go back to normal
