Anyone know about full grown red tails 
myne is a 2 feet right now and he is in a 60. will that last him his whole life? how much bigger off a tank will i need also what is beter feeding inside or out of the tank thanks a bunch.

60 gallon long will last your snake till shes about 5 or 6 feet long. you might look into building one in about 3 or 4 years or buying a custome built. With redtails hieght is just as important as length as they are tree climbers. and i gotta say they do very well with other boas from the same climate zone. I feel that its better for some snakes to eat where they live- less likely to refuse food because of stress. However some of my snakes will eat anywhere, one of my argentine boas will take prey while shes draped on my shoulders!

you will need a 4’ by 2’ by 1’ cage as a minimum for a 6-7 footer. Anything larger than 7’ you might wanna find a slightly larger (5’ by
’2 or 5’ by 3’). Vision, animal plastics, and boaphile plastics each make good cages. What are the dimensions of a 60 gallon? also i would suggest getting your snake out of the aquarium as soon as possible. The only other way to sex without probing is by popping, and like probeing if you dont know what you are doing it could be harmful. Herp vets will do sexing as will most breeders if you buy from a breeder.

my aquarium is 4’by 2’ by 2’ i dont think it is exactly a 60gl might be a couple gallons more. anyway i was trying to find a way to sex by looking at the pattern or tail

well good luck thats impossible even looking at the spurs is not efective on boas. If the petshop isnt willing to probe your next buy, go somewhere else..
