 Rosy breeding

I am getting a pair of rosys this week. they are the two foulfredy is selling on the boas page. I plan on breeding them but I have a few questions first. I’m not sure how I’m going to cool the cages in the winter and wanted to know how important it is. I know it’s better to have a brumation cycle but if I don’t and I just cycle the female in with him in the spring will it work very well?

well,

congrats on getting that pair.

i wanted them lol.

if you will just cycle the male, that will work.

or cycle the male for 4 weeks, and the female 2.

thats what i do.

 Rosy breeding

cycle them in with each other? or cycle them through a cold period? I am a first time breeder and I hope to start breeding all kinds of stuff eventually so any tips anybody has are much appreciated.

 Rosy breeding

i keep my male in a plastic tub near a vent.
the air comes out at around 55 and he gets down to about no more than 60.
my female stays in her cage but with out her lamp.
it gets about 75 at the most.

this takes place for a month and a half.
my female will continue to eat.

the male is off of feeding.

[so if you’ve got a smaller male, it will be dangerous.]

after the heat turns up, i feed the male every five days to get a sense of an abundance of food.

after a two weeks, i introduce them.
keep the male in the cage at night for three weeks.

that will make sure that breeding will take place.
