Little balboa  so... we added an addition to our little snake family. a Colombian rainbow boa. he’s pretty nippy when we first get him out but with lots of handling that phase will be over soon. i know humidity regulation in a MUST for this species so my question in dose any on have any tips on how to keep humidity regulated with out misting his cage every hour. that’s about what it takes according to the humidity guage and its a little tough when every ones at work and what not, any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks a bunch!

Little balboa  One thing you might want to try is placing the heat light over the water bowl. Thats how I keep the humidity at a good level for my boas.

Little balboa  I purchased a tropicaire reptile humidifier/air exchanger from reptilesupply.com.Its a plastic container with a sponge inside that you fill with water (you also need a aquarium air pump) it pumps fresh humid air into the enclosure.I can keep the humidity level between 90-95% with temps at 75-85.the only draw back is the moisture on the glass.A small price to pay for a healthy pet.
