Interested in breeding hi all. so i’ve had my snakes for a little while now and have gotten interested in breeding just as a hobby, maybe just having one or two breeding pairs. i’ve pretty much decided to breed sand boas. i thought about balls or corns but they are too saturated in the market adn i don’t think i’d make money off of em really. not looking to make tons just enough to support my hobby. right now i just have one baby male kenyan. i’m thinking of getting him a girl friend this summer. i know he’s not ready to breed yet, just wanted to know when he and his mate would be. i’ve heard males can breed much earlier than females, is their a certain age or weight they need to be first. i’ve been doing some research but i can’t find a whole lot about breeding sand boas. i most likely be look to breed them until spring/summer of 2010 (brumating right before then), to allow them to be old enough (if they are at that time). any advice would be apprecitated.
o and i know they can have large "litters" (not sure what else to call it), so i am aware that i may have to feed 15 little mouths.
