 Breeding hogg island boa

I want to breeding my hogg island boa(male) and i was wondering what size the female needs to be to and what kind of boa(red tail, columbian, ect) would produce good looking offsrping.

This is him, he’s two years old and 4-41/2 feet long.

That is not a hog island. Maybe a cross, but not pure and really doesn’t look like he has any hog in him.

As for your question, a female needs to be a minimum 3 years and healthy. You can’t give an actual length, as different types of boas reach different lengths. As for what type, it depends on what your male really is. It is always best to breed boas to the same type of boa, or you end up with boas of unknown lineage.

I also agree that it looks like a nice common or columbian. I picked up a hogg yesturday at the mississauga expo. Here let’s see if the pic will actually show.
