 Breeding my RTB...

Iam breeding my 5 year old RTB. I want to make some beautiful babies. So iam thinking about breeding her with a Emerald Tree Boa. Dont you think their would be amazing babys? But iam not so sure its possible...I have talked to many experts and they said they dont see why not. And that isnt good enough for me...i want to be 100% positive that i can with out hurting my animals....so if yall could help me out that’d be great thanks!

It wont hurt your snake but there is a good chance they wont breed or if they do it wont take or will produce all slugs! I would love to see it happen though! I know some emeralds are bred with other tree boas and have saw them on the internet for thousands of dollars! Just make sure they dont fight and cross your fingers! My only concern would be their humidity requirment difference. The Emeralds need about 90% humidity while the red tails need only about 50% and you dont want either of them to get ill from not enough or too much! You could try to lower the temps a few weeks in each cage and put them together at night and see if anything happens but I wouldnt leave them together more than a day or two at a time.
