 Sheding help

ok this might sound a little dumb but i am gettig kind of concered b/c by brb is having trouble sheding and it has been about a week and a half since it started. i have made sure that its hide has moist moss in it and the tank is staying in the right humidity range. so what do you guys thinki should do or is this common?

ITS BEEN A WEEK!! as soon as they have a bad shed you should aid the snake in getting the skin off.

Directions
-fill a bucket with 1/2 an inch of water
-put in a damp towel
-put the snake in
-put the lid on
-wait 30 minutes
-then peel off any skin thats still left on.

In the future, if this happens again try and get it off as soon as possible, cause it will be way easier to get off, causing less stress on the snake

Im not sure what could have happened if the humidity levels are right, things like this happen everyonce and a while... not sure why.

The whole shedding process takes about a week so if the skin is not coming off yet i would leave it alone and not try to pull it off.Misting and soaking it would not hurt but a week is normal for a shed.Has the skin started to come off yet or did you just notice it starting the shed cycle.

yea it has a little bit at its tail but it isnt coming off anywere else, but i was getting kinda worried because its last sheds were real quick. but thanks for the addvice.

yes, the shedding process takes about a week,(hazy, blue, clear) but when it actually starts to shed its skin it shouldnt take a week. it should only take 20 minutes.

did you mean its been in its skin for a week? or started the preshed stuff a week ago.?

sry my computer was on the frits, but he still hasnt shed but his eyes havent turned blue but they are real cloudy. so i think i was just being over worried, but the skin towards the end of his body did come off.

have you ever had a snake before? the skin should come off all at once, If not then he’s stuck in his old skin.
you probably missed his blue eye phase.... cause hes already shed
follow the steps that I said earlier and then he should be fine, but its going to be hard if the skin has already been on him for over a week now.
