Question okay, so what iv’e been observing is that people let their snakes chill in the bath tub once in a while........ now, it doesnt seem that my brb cares for water all that much, as she only goes in water after meals, if that. so, im wondering, would a rainbow boa even want to roam around in the tub?? does anyone let theirs do so?
thanks!

Question I don’t put mine in the tub so much because she’s too curious about getting out and I don’t trust it. I have put her in a tupperware full of water on occasion if I don’t like the way her skin is feeling or if she’s getting ready to shed. (I’ll put her in before she eats so that she can eat and shed all at once). I do let her hang out in the shower with me from time to time though :) She enjoys the humidity and will chill on top of the showerhead.

Question My fiance and I keep a humid hide in with our snakes at all times. The Brazilian Rainbow Boa loves it and rarely comes out unless he is getting a drink or wants a fuzzy. Its just a small plastic box filled a quarter way with moist moss with a small hole cut in the front. Works great and makes for a beautiful shed. As far as the tubs we never use but outside pools in the summer are great for our two Burms.

Question well, im thinking she doesnt get in her water bowl much because the enclosure is already extremely humid, and she also has a humid hide.... so maybe theres no need. dunno, but seeing pics of snakes swimming around is interesting... i just cant picture bella doing it.
in any case, thanks for all the responses :)

Question My BRB seems to enjoy the tub thing. Most of my snakes do, although my RTB freaks out until she finds the drain and wraps her tail around it. Then she’s content. lol. I don’t a pic of the BRB, but here’s a few of my BP having some bath time fun with a pirate rubber ducky a few days ago.
