Very few carry it :o)

yes the site is secure... they also have other pet supplies ...if you need stuff for a dog, cat, other reptiles, etc.

I used my debit card to order mine... Takes 3-5 days to get (regular US mail), depending on the method of shipping, and what day you order it on.
(if you order moday, you will get it wed/thurs - order friday, get it tued/wed, etc)

Not if you use the right product.

Did you call to see if they have PAM (most do Not carry it).
You may find Something to help... dunno what type of products they have there in Canada :(

Was told is very hard to get stuff shipped there, and some times costs quite a bit...

Beware of pet shop advice!

Most are very Uneducated on snake Care!!!

to get rid of the mites you have to get them out of the enclosure. and off the snake... if you only do one, its not gonna work.

so. try to get some prevent a mite. and take your snake out of its tank, and spray it down.
once thats done soak the snake in nix mixture (4 litres of water, and a tube of NIX)
then both the tank and the snake should be clean of mites

...should work :)

You may Not see signs, till there is an outbreak. If you saw one, there are plenty more.

I got my BP home from the pet store, was holding her for a few mns before placing her in the enclosure... had this tiny lil lady bug looking thing on my arm ...had not seen anything for a while... then 30 days later (exactly) I found her soaking and tiny lil bugs all over her, in the water dish, etc.

If you have Other snakes... you Should treat all enclosures ...take care of it now,
or "just in case’, or you could have an infestation begin.

the mites hide underneath the scales of the snake...so you cant always see them. plus the living mites might be gone...but there could be eggs all over the enclosure. so...yeah...they’re a pain in the arss to get rid of

about the papaer towel as substrate, do they need wood to lay eggs or will they lay on the paper towels?

The paper towels is more to See the mites (if there are any or any left) and easier to clean, more often, than other substrate.

one way to check for mites is to hold yeh snake and wrap your hand around him/her(not to hard but make sure your hand has a grip) behind the head and run yeh hand down the snake all the way and if you feel or have any mites on yeh hands then youll know...but i heard one way to get rid of mites is to soak yeh snake in warm not to hott water but im not sure if it works

PAM is way over rated, look for vanidine. It’s even safe to use in frog enclosures. I use it for rescues all the time, just bath them in a 1tbs to 1 gallon water mix, one treatment they’ll all be dead. You can use it in spray bottles to clean your enclosure too.

If vanidine does not have permethrin as an ingredient it will not kill mite eggs,if you Don’t kill the eggs in and around the cage you will just have another re infestation.
