Adult females can get to 7 feet. BRBs are not really girthy snakes, they are really slender actually. It takes about five years for them to get full grown (correct me if I’m wrong guys), and a 4x2x2 cage is perfect for an adult, be sure you have a smaller cage for a baby or juvenile (like 10-20 long).

thats what i house mine in.... it seems fine, although i do wish she had more climbing room, even though she never utilized it before. in any case, from what i know, that enclosure size is definitely sufficient.

 A few questions....

I have my adults in 33" x 17" plastic tubs and it’s more than enough room!

A healthy female with proper heat and a good feeding schedule will get 6.5 - 7 feet long and about wrist thick. They tame easily if you handle them properly and not too frequently.

I use to have enclosures for them that were 18" tall but they never really did much climbing. They spent most of their time in their hides.

So although a 48" x 24" x 24" will work...

You really don’t "need" that much room. But it won’t hurt them either as long as you can maintain "proper" heat and humidity!!!

yup that cage size is great!, the more the better, it never hurts to have more room in case they deside they want to cruise around and explore! but like Scylla said they usually dont use it(mine dosent hardly ever, hes just in the hide always too!), but yes females can get bigger then males, the most they will get is 7 feet really but thats tops size proly wont get that big actually alot of the female and male BRBs i have seen are pretty much the same size, the females get a little bigger in length and girth but not too much diff. from the males. They will proly take 2-3 years to fully grow.
