im thinking of getting a rainbow boa and i was wondering if they are tame our not?

Well, if youve done your research, then congrats for deciding to get one. They are great animals. At first, they will nip at you, never hurts though, let them bite once or twice and its over. After they realize biting wont stop you from picking them up, they wont anymore. Other then that, after a week of handling, they are very tame and calm.

All snakes bite. The trick is avoiding the bite!

And Booby is correct. As babies...the bites don’t hurt at all. More of a surprise than anything else.
