i saw a rainbow boa today going for $169. is that good or bad???

That depends on a few factors...

Male or Female?

Normal? High Red?

How old is it?

And you just asked about "Rainbow Boas". Is it a Brazilian or a Columbian or what?

These details matter.

That may be a over-priced snake...Or it could be a great deal.

i didnt get all those details. i doubt they know the age (wasnt hatched there)

I wouldnt pay that for a normal Columbian, but others may consider it a good price. I guess it depends on how much you like that particular snake. You’ll want to do some research before you buy any rainbow, their needs are more specialized than most common pet store snakes and they’re pretty easy to kill with the wrong setup.

FYI, rainbows are livebearers, that snake wasnt hatched anywhere.
