 Do Rainbow boas get big?

Are they a medium sized boa. If not what are some of the snaller boas

Smaller boas are those like sand boas (of all types) and rosy boas. I would consider rainbows to be a medium sized snake, males about 4-5 feet, females about 5-6 feet, some topping out at 7.

If you re looking for a small boa or python. Go with balls, sands, or rosy....Rainbows get up to 7 or 8...to me thats a good size considering i have a burmese and they get hard to handle....OHH consider dumeril’s also...amazing boas they are....but rainbows are a blast to keep! great feeding response.

Rainbow Boas don’t get anywhere near 8-Feet!

Females usually top off around 6.5 feet...Maybe as much as 7 feet...and about as big around as a beer bottle.

Males usually around 5 - 5.5 feet and a little smaller around than a can of Red Bull.
