 Housing together

Hi everyone...I have 1 brb and thinking about getting another. Do you think it will be ok to house 2 babies together? I have a female and thinking about getting a male next. Please let me know what you think. Here is another question...I was looking at a adult male brb yesterday and got bit by him. It didn’t hurt...it feels like thorns on a bush. Now my question is...can you tame them with more handling as babies? Ok...another question is(sorry). Do they get lighter as they grow? I mainly keep corn snakes and this is my 1st brb and would like to know more about there temperment. Thanks for all the help in advance.

There are so many risks involved, and they are solitary animals, so 2 cannot be housed together.

Handling is ultimately the only way you CAN tame them. Not in excess, but a regular handling schedule with handling a few minutes at a time can help. I would say no more than once a day, (besides before & after feeding) some might say less often, though.

As far as I know, they get a deeper color as they go into juvie stage and keep that color, but don’t quote me on it lol.
