How much? go to classifiedads.com Thats where I go. And it is free to set up the account and to post pics of you snake. And it works very well. Your snake should be sold in about a week maybe two.

Craigslist

Actually you cal sell animals on Craigslist! It’s against their policy and will get the ad flagged and then pulled.

So don’t waste your time there.

My recommendation...Just post an ad in your local newspaper classified section of their website. Most papers usually have free ads up to a certain size.

That’s odd I look for reptiles all the time in / on CL...they are free and usually worded with re homing fee.....lol

Any way there are numerous sources ...here in the Los Angeles area we have the recycler ...free, in addition to CL

In Utah they have KSL.com...etc etc.

I am sure as BSS said there are more avenues.

I just found a lovely African House Snake via craigslist. I’ve been searching there for a BRB for over a year now, but none have been close enough to me for a pick-up, and it’s rare to find someone who knows how to and is willing to ship. Make sure you post "pick-up only" or such to avoid people like me emailing you about possibly shipping your boy. ^_^

Craigslist does have a lot of people who flag ads just to flag them, but you can always repost. There’s also kijiji.com Similar to craigslist, but more tolerant of high prices on animals and/or posts from breeders.

I know this is a bit late, but wanted to mention I bought my BRB off CraigsList back in November. I paid $100 for him and I am so glad I did. If you do rehome animals on CL, word your post carefully and it won’t get flagged. Also, don’t ask a ridiculous rehoming/adoption fee. I’m on CL daily looking for reptiles that need homes. So far I have picked up quite a few reptiles from CL, as well as enclosures and even two snake racks. I <3 CL! :)

Kijiji.com and hoobly.com are other advertising websites that are free.

Big slick is technically right. It is not for animal sales- but for rehoming.

That said, I know alot of people who have gotten snakes from there- sometimes in fairly deplorable condition, sometimes gorgeous specimines. Ive seen folks selling off entire collections of morphs or specific localities to make way for a nursery for a new baby at really reasonable (yet still way out of my price range) "rehoming" fees- and I’ve seen some crazy exepnsive ones ( $300.oo for a ball python- normal...no cage). Those are the ones who often get flagged. It probably depends on where you live too, and how many flaggers are bored out of their gourd. I must admit...I am a flagger on occation, but I flag whiny discussions and flamers which belong in the discussion group- not folks trying to find a home for their pet.

If you’re looking to sell just one, its usually fine. Most of the flaggers care about cute puppies, adorable kittens and fluffy bunnies, not scary reptiles. *grins knowing reptiles are just as awesome as other critters*
