Thank you :)

BRB’s are considered medium sized boas. And while I’ve read varying info regarding their size, I belive they tend to average between 5-7’, with females being larger. Bella is actually very small- I dont think shes even 5’. The minimum enclosure size for an adult BRB, recommended by my distributor, is 4x2x2. Thats what I have Bella in now, but if she were any bigger, I’d definitely use a larger enclosure.

Hope this info was helpful.

its hard to see the true size of this snake, nothing really to compare too. you should post a picture of you holding it or something to show size

sure, but these are old - she’s a little bigger in the pics i first posted... also, the enclosure is 4’ in length, that should be some reference.

Brbs are really cool. Before getting one, make sure you research their husbandry. They need high humidity and moderate heat or you will have a whole plethera of medical issues.
They do tend to be nippy as neonates, but often settle down with handling as they grow.

All of the localities and colors are beautiful, but I think my favorites are calico. They are stunning. Looks like they fell asleep and it snowed on em.
Still very rare in the pet trade.

To me it looks like a mix of Aspen, Cyprus mulch and Moss. Moss is great for keeping humidity up.

How close did I guess?

is that a good bedding. i have repti bark spagnum moss and aspen and never thought to mix them for my snakes that need higher humidity. is it ok having moss as a bedding like that?

sorry for the delayed response, i dont check the forum as often as i used to...

its repit-bark jungle mix, coconut husk and moss. it works very well for high humidity. been using it for a long while actually, but it is expensive.
