 Harley’s First Rat!!!

So based on all your suggestions, I moved my RTB to rat pups from adult mice, and she took to them without hesitation!!!

She took him down like a champ, and he was even a little big for a pup. So glad she made the transition to rats without a problem.

How easy is it to move a snake from live to f/t?

Ive heard that if its tough moving them from live to frozen, you should brain them (exposing the brain so he can scent it better) then theyr more likely to eat it.. thats what I was told in the pet store. Its disgusting but if its what it takes I guess =/

It shouldn’t be that difficult. Use tongs to get the snake to strike at it and aloso make sure it is warm so your snake thinks it’s live. If it still won’t take try and get abit of blood from the rat so your snake can sense it’s prey more.
