she keeps hissing and swinging her head back and forth. she has stuff coming out of her mouth.(alot of stuff) i just fed her a couple of days ago but i dont think that has anything to do with it. she also seems to be having a real hard time breathing. her mouth is hanging open and her whole body moves every time she takes a breath. (i realize her body moves when she breaths anyways but this is very noticiable) i checked her heat and humidity and all’s fine there. she always has fresh water. there has to be something else i can do? i love her and i dont wanna lose her!!!

A couple of months ago one of my Burm’s had an ri,it was about 50 bucks for the visits and the take home shots.By the sounds of the symptoms i would get that snake to the vet ASAP.

If It’s not furry vets are far fewer,There are no 24 Hr animal hospitals around me that treat reptiles That’s for sure.

Try to up her temp’s and humidity to help her. I’ve heard Ri’s can be helped in this way. Good luck with the vets. Don’t panic she will be OK as soon as you’ve been re-assured by the vet. I came home last week after a night out and my electric had gone at one in the morning. My snake had been cold for almost twelve hours I thought she was dead and was balling my eyes out and even grieving for her, the next thing she moved and I got her temps back up to normal. She is now doing fine, she’s eaten and has gone blue to shed. I will never go out again. She will be just fine like she is.
