NY Reptile Show Pics.. I’ve always heard that prices at a reptile show were a lot lower than buying reptiles in stores. The prices I’m seeing in those pictures are all either higher or same amount as what I see in the local reptile store here. Kind of makes me glad I don’t waste my time going to those things. Anyway, those are nice pictures. Which NY show was that? White Plains or Melville?

NY Reptile Show Pics.. Shows are for haggeling. You never pay what they are asking. You shoot a low number and then you go from there. I have made at least one good deal at a reptile show, that I would have never gotten on line. Sometimes it helps to be able to talk face to face. Not to mention you get to personally inspect an animal befor buying it.

NY Reptile Show Pics.. Looks pretty pastel to me. With in 6 months or so there should be no doubt. Looks like she is going to have some color. On a side not I noticed the thermometers in the cage. Analog controls are known to be quite inacurate. I recomend a backup(more of a primary) digital stayle hydrometer/thermometer for accurate monitoring. At walmart you can get a brand called Accurite, they have a model that has duel zone thermometer and a hydrometer all in the same unit, about $12.
