Cblt question I am having so much trouble finding the answer to a very simple question. I’m sure someone here can help! Is the cblt coloring specific to a certain type of red tail boa, from a certain place, or could any red tail have that patterning? If not, which ones do? I understand it’s not necessarily a morph, but that’s not really the question. Imput would be fabulous! thank you.

Cblt question CBLT- Circle Back Ladder Tail is not a coloring. It is a pattern and pretty self explanatory. It is where the dorsal saddles connect to form perfect circles off base color between the saddles, and the tail saddles fuse to create a ladder effect. Genetics are not inherited in a classic reproducable way(recessive, dominant, co-dom), but should you breed a cblt to a cblt chances are you will get some. Generally it is a pattern anomoly that is common with Colombian BCI and Surinam BCC.
Hope that helps.

Cblt question patterning OF colors, is what I meant but thank you. so a red tail that has that patterning is most likely a suriname or colombian red tail boa, yes? Not breeding it, nor do I want to, just curious. thank you for your help.
