 Feeding Questions

Hi everybody! I have been feeding my RT 2 jumbo rats every 14 days. My RT is 8 ft long and about 4 years old. Am I over feeding or is this OK? Should I move her up to rabbits or just stick with rats? Thanks in advance for all the help!

 Feeding Questions

I would say every two to three weeks would be about good. Now as far as what she is eating, in your pics she doesn’t look all that thick, if one Jumbo puts a lump in her stomach then I don’t see the need for another rat. It is a personal call, I i can’t see her in person but like i said , I would opt for one rat over two, as long as one rat leaves a lump. As for rabbits, personally don’t fell they are needed until a few rats just isn’t enough.

 Feeding Questions

Thanks for the help. One rat doesn’t put a bump in her belly that is one of the reasons I have been giving her two. After the second one I can see where she has eaten so I stop at two. I really just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overfeeding.
